Francesco Tironi was a Venetian landscape painter who worked in the 18th century. He is considered the last great landscape painter of the Venetian eighteenth century. Little is known about his life, but he was influenced by Canaletto and Guardi. He often used engravings by Canaletto to structure his views and captured the dark colors and melancholy figures of Guardi.
